October’s My Brown Ballerina of the Month: Jaeden Rollins
Baltimore, MD – October 2024 – Meet Jaeden Rollins, the 12-year-old dance prodigy from Baltimore, Maryland, who is this month’s shining star as My Brown Ballerina of the Month! Jaeden has been training at Fearless Dance Empire for five years in ballet, modern, acro, and tap, while also mastering pre-pointe for the past two years. Her deep love for dance and unwavering commitment to her craft make her a standout performer.
Jaeden’s journey in dance is not without its challenges. She often faces the physical demands of long weeks of practice and the discipline required to constantly apply corrections from her instructors. Despite the pain, Jaeden embraces these challenges, knowing that each struggle leads to growth. Her dedication is driven by her desire to inspire others, especially fellow Brown Ballerinas, and to expand exposure for dancers like her.
A true artist, Jaeden also studies music to help connect her energy and soul to the rhythm, allowing her performances to uplift audiences. She admires her older dance sisters, whose perseverance through difficult times has led to great successes, serving as a motivating example for Jaeden as she continues her own journey.
When asked about the future of dance, Jaeden is passionate about seeing more opportunities for young Brown Ballerinas to gain the exposure they deserve. She wants to be part of a movement that showcases the beauty and talent of dancers her age, ensuring that diversity is celebrated in the world of ballet.
Jaeden is eagerly prepared for her upcoming performance in Fearless Dance Empire’s end-of-year showcase, “The Rise of a Great Empire,” on June 29th. She brought her energy and love for dance to the stage,Jaeden gave a performance that inspired everyone in the audience.
